I've walked the vast
expanses
Until the calluses cradled
my feet
I wandered the winter woods
Until I couldn't feel me
I climbed the snowy peaks
Carrying a lonely soul in
me
And I slid the mossy slopes
Ever reluctant to let go
That which I've so longed
to see
I've always appreciated
The moonlight on snow
And the striking way it
sets
The quiet forest a glow
While ever longing for
The woods I once roamed
I awoke to appreciate
The decadence of home
Olden Days
